After you apply Windows 8.1 Update 1 or Windows Server 2012 R2 Update 1, batch commands for the SAS 9.4 Deployment Backup and Recovery tool might fail.
When the problem occurs, the batch command is not executed. No error message is visible in the Windows command prompt window. When you examine the log file, the following INFO messages indicating the problem are found:
INFO: EnvCalls::isWow64=rc(system info) FALSE Fri Jun 20 17:26:47 2014 INFO: MessageDisplay=This application does not support your platform.
You can find the log files created for the batch commands in this location: C:\Users\userID\AppData\Local\SAS\SASDeploymentWizard
The names of these log files begin with the batch command that was executed. Here is an example:
